Getting to New Street is easy and convenient. It is just minutes from Martinsburg, Charles Town, Sharpsburg/Boonsboro/Hagerstown Maryland.

From Sharpsburg and points north:

Take MD Route 34. Follow approximately 3 miles. You will cross over Potomac River and into West Virginia. Please note: Once in WV, MD 34 becomes WV 480

Proceed to 4 way stop sign. Continue straight to the second left onto New Street. Proceed to Church Street The church is red brick and is on the right, at the corner of Church and New Streets.

From Martinsburg and points west:

Take WV Route 45 East. Follow approximately 8 miles.

Proceed to 4 way stop sign. Turn right onto Route 480. Continue straight to the second left onto New Street. Proceed to Church Street The church is red brick and is on the right, at the corner of Church and New Streets.

From Charles Town/Harpers Ferry:

If departing from Harpers Ferry take Route 230/Shepherdstown Pike to Shepherdstown.

If departing from Charles Town take Route 17/Flowing Springs Road which turns into Route 230

Proceed on 230 which bears left coming into Shepherdstown and crosses railroad tracks.

Proceed straight through 3 way intersection onto Washington Street.

Proceed to second stop sign to Church Street. Turn right.

The church is red brick and is on the left, at the corner of Church and New Streets.

New Street UMC Worship Services/Activities Canceled Sunday February 7th!

There will be no worship services or activities held on Sunday February 7th.

Your safety is a primary concern when considering whether worship service at New Street will be canceled. Consideration has been given by the trustees for general road conditions, parking, and walking access to the church.

For those who are on the email/telephone chain, a broadcast has been sent out. The church telephone greeting has also been updated with this status.
